Doctor Zahid said, 'Madame (Khaleda Zia) has been admitted to the London clinic since January 8. His latest reports were reviewed by a medical board headed by Professor John Patrick Kennedy and further tests were decided upon. Two more London doctors will see him in the next day or two. Later, our method of treating him ie, he is now being treated with drugs for liver, kidney, heart, diabetes, pressure, rheumatoid arthritis. Apart from this, if any treatment can be done, the members of the medical team of the John Hopkins Hospital in the United States participated in the medical board meeting here, so that they have taken the initiative to make it as a one-umbrella treatment, i.e., a one-stop service. .'
Zahid Hossain said, 'Considering her (Khaleda Zia's) general condition, taking into account her age, we hope that the best treatment will be followed. That may be after the next two-three days when there are extended members of the medical board, they will also give an opinion on this matter from this country (London) and from outside the country, then his treatment will continue accordingly.
