BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is going to Senakunj on Thursday (November 21) on the occasion of Armed Forces Day. He will attend the reception of Senakunj. Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the party's media cell, told the Bangla Tribune this information on Wednesday (November 20) around 7:15 pm.
He said, 'Former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia will participate in the program at Senakunj on Thursday at 3 o'clock.'
Quoting Chairperson's Private Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, Shairul Kabir Khan said that Khaleda Zia will attend the Senakunj event after several years.
Khaleda Zia is participating in a state function for the first time since her imprisonment in February 2018. On Tuesday (November 19) night, the Army Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lt. General Mizanur Rahman Shamim and the Principal Staff Officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Department Lt. It is said that General ASM Kamrul Ahsan delivered this invitation letter to the BNP Chairperson.
According to party sources, on the occasion of Armed Forces Day, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee members and 26 leaders have been given invitations.

According to a source of the party, Khaleda Zia last visited Senakunj in 2012 for the armed forces ceremony.
