The Jatiya Party has called a rally on Saturday (November 2) in connection with the withdrawal of cases against the party's chairman-general secretary, control of commodity prices and arson at the party office. The party chairman GM Quader is expected to attend the rally held in front of the central office at Kakrail in the capital that afternoon.
GM Quader held a press conference in Banani on Friday (November 1) regarding the rally. At that time, he said, 'Our gathering program will continue on two dates. All our programs and movements will be carried out systematically and non-violently'.
He said, 'We have come to die, we want to die, we want to see how much you kill. We will still have a meeting. I am still alive because of Allah's protection, not anyone else's protection.'
'If we have to look to Allah's help for justice, how will the country run – Kader asked. He said, 'We don't want a one-day democracy. We want democracy all the time. We want government to be – of the people, by the people, for the people'.
