The Jatiya Party has postponed the program of Saturday's rally and protest march in the capital's Vijayanagar.
This information was informed in a notification sent to the media this Friday evening.
Before this, the policy makers of the party sat in discussion on this issue. According to the previous announcement, the party was supposed to hold a rally tomorrow Saturday in the capital's Kakrail.
According to the notification, the program of Jatiya Party's rally and protest march to be held at the Jatiya Party central office at Kakrail Chatter at 2 o'clock on Saturday has been temporarily suspended.
Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance Section 29 (meeting place) prohibits any kind of meeting, assembly, march, procession, demonstration etc. Jatiya Party has taken this decision respecting the law, said in the notification. The notification also mentioned that the next program will be officially announced by the Jatiya Party.
