Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman led a delegation consisting of three members of the delegation of the European Union Ambassador Mr. At the invitation of Sebastian Rieger Brown, he had a courtesy meeting with the representatives of eight EU countries at his residence in Gulshan, capital Dhaka.
Mujibul Alam of the Central Propaganda Department of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami said that the meeting was held in a cordial and cordial atmosphere on Monday afternoon.
In the meeting, the Jamaat leaders expressed hope that the development, progress and bilateral relations of Bangladesh with the European Union will be strengthened in the future.
The remaining two members of the Jamaat delegation are – Dr. Nayeb Amir. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher and Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar.
The representatives of 8 countries of the European Union are – Ambassador of Germany Mr. Achim Troster, Ambassador of Italy Mr. Mr. Antonio Alessandro, Ambassador of Denmark. Mr. Cristian Brix Muller, Spain. Mr. Gabriel Sistiaga, Political Councilor of France. Kristian Beck, Norway's Charge of Affairs Ms. Marian Rebeknavelsrud, Sweden's Head of Political, Trade and Communication Ms. Lovisa Hoffmann and Netherlands' Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Thijs Woodstra.
