Allama Imam Hayat, chairman of the party, alleged that the interim government proved to be a dictatorship by stopping the gathering of the registered political party Insaniyat Biplab. He strongly protested the closure of the rally.
Insaniat Biplab organized a rally in front of the National Press Club on Saturday (November 30) morning. A press conference was held at the party's central office in Gulshan in the afternoon to protest against the police stopping the rally.
Imam Hayat said that fair elections are impossible under the interim rulers unless all parties are given the opportunity to speak and carry out peaceful programs. Democracy will be overthrown and the state will be seized only through farcical elections.
He said, if the state does not ensure the rights of all people, the liberation of the state and the people will not come through this government. If the people are not recognized as the owners of the state, the state and democracy will be destroyed.
