Govt of India responsible for attack on Assistant High Commission: Ganaforum

People's forum president, one of the organizers of the liberation war Mustafa Mohsin Montu and general secretary Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman strongly condemned and protested in a joint statement and said that the Indian government must take responsibility for the attack on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh. This is a sign of their ultimate failure.

In a statement sent to the media on Tuesday (December 3) evening, it is said that entering the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala, lowering the national flag and burning it is highly audacious and reprehensible, and is part of a conspiracy against the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh. Such audacious and planned attacks will further distance the relationship between the two countries and pose a security threat.

The leaders also said that the Indian government should remember that the people of Bangladesh are peaceful but uncompromising on the question of independence and sovereignty. Creating anarchy with Bangladesh will not bring welfare for India. Ganoforum wants India to extend a hand of friendship to the interim government of the country based on the aspirations of the people of Bangladesh and to be sincere and respectful of the people's decision.
