Students of Dhaka University have protested against the attack on Hasnat Abdullah, the chief organizer of the South Citizens Party (NCP) in Gazipur and one of the organizers of the anti -discrimination student movement.
The students rallied at Raju sculpture on Sunday (May 7) at 9 pm from the Hall Para of Dhaka University.

In the short rally of the procession, Hasib Al Islam, chief organizer of the DU branch of the Democratic Student Parliament, said, “The attack that took place today is not just on the Hasnat, the attack has been on the coup on July. As we have seen, six months have passed on the July coup, but this government has not been able to announce the Proclemation of July Revolution. '
He said to the interim government, 'What do you fear? You cannot ban the Awami League. The whole Bangladesh will be forced to remove the support on you, unless the Awami can ban. You will not show the students the high court on the question of banning the Awami League. If the Awami is not banned very quickly and the Proclaiming of July does not declare the Revolution; Then the student population will come back to the movement like July. '
Ridwan Ahmed Rifat, a student of Arabic department at the protest rally, said, “Is the Awami League-Jubo League-Chhatra League a political organization?” They are only known as the Terrorist League. They are just terrorist organizations. We do not want to see any terrorists on the soil of Bangladesh. Their place will be gallows. '
