Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) General Secretary Comrade Ruhin Hossain Prince commented that Comrade Hena Das remained steadfast in the great struggle for human liberation till the last day of her life. He said, 'Comrade Hena Das was a pioneer in the struggle for the liberation of the deprived and oppressed people.'
The CPB general secretary said this at the discussion meeting on the birth centenary of Comrade Hena Das on Friday afternoon at Mukti Bhaban in Purana Paltan of the capital. At this time, the central leaders of CPB placed wreaths on the portrait of Comrade Hena Das. At the beginning of the meeting, the Udichi artist group performed mass music in memory of Hena Das. After that CPB central committee member Comrade Lucky Akhtar presented the biography of Hena Das.
Former president of CPB Mujahidul Islam Salim said that Comrade Hena Das was a national leader. He was a true communist. He will be a beacon of generations for ages.
Chairperson of Mahila Parishad Fauzia Moslem said that a unique leader of a multifaceted movement like Comrade Hena Das is rarely born in this country. Comrade Hena Das has been an integral part of every phase of the progressive movement of this country. Young generation should learn from his revolutionary life.
In the president's speech, party presidium member Lakshmi Chakraborty said that Hena Das will always be relevant in politics. His unforgettable contribution to history will be remembered by the nation for ages.
