BNP will give a white paper on money laundering

BNP has decided to publish a white paper on money laundering during the ousted Awami League regime. Sources of the meeting said that this decision was taken at the BNP Standing Committee meeting last Monday night.

According to sources, in the last 15 and a half years during the Awami regime, the smuggling of Tk 28 lakh crore was discussed in the meeting. Some leaders of the party have already been given responsibility for this.

India's statements and actions centered around the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das, the spokesperson of Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Manch, were strongly criticized in the meeting. After several recent incidents, concern was expressed over the attack on the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Agartala. Party policymakers said India's behavior was unethical and was interfering in Bangladesh's internal affairs.

According to the agenda of the meeting, the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das and the killing of a lawyer in the ensuing violence, the attack on the Assistant High Commission in Agartala and the Deputy High Commission in Kolkata were discussed over the 'controversial' comments of the Indian External Affairs Ministry. The leaders think that these incidents fueled the fallen Awami League.

In addition, it was said in the meeting that ISKCON's activities in Bangladesh and the Indian government's statement are linked, which is planned. These actions of India are trying to incite communal riots and present Bangladesh as a communal state to the world.

It was also decided to hold a press conference to protest India's role. The leaders agreed to hold a press conference in a day or two.

In the meeting, satisfaction was expressed over the verdict on the August 21 grenade attack. Leaders said the verdict proved that the case was ulterior motive and only out of political vendetta.

In the meeting, BNP decided to organize a big concert with local artistes in Dhaka on the occasion of Victory Day. This initiative has been taken to celebrate the Victory Day celebrations with innovation and grandeur.
