Aminul Haque, the party's central sports affairs secretary and the convenor of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP commented that BNP wants to work shoulder to shoulder with the common people. Addressing the party leaders and activists, he said, “We will not do such a thing, so that common people cannot say that the Awami League-BNP currency is upside down.”
Aminul Haque said these things in the opening speech at the workshop on the 31 points given by the BNP on the reform of the state and the cadre meeting of the Dhaka Metropolitan North Khilkhet Police Station. Khilkhet Thana BNP organized this meeting and workshop at Barua Alauddin Dewan High School ground under Khilkhet Thana on Sunday (December 08) noon.
Aminul Haque said that by establishing the people's government, the accountability of the elected government will be made to the people of Bangladesh. We want to build good governance and a democratic Bangladesh through that accountability.
In the workshop, BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman gave a virtual speech as the chief guest on the 31 points given by BNP to repair the state.
Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Haji Mustafa Zaman spoke as the main speaker.
Khilkhet Thana BNP Convener Haji Fazlul Haque Fazlu presided over the workshop as a special guest, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Joint Convener Md. Akhtar Hossain. Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP joint convener Mostafizur Rahman Segun, SM Jahangir, Ferdowsi Ahmed and others also spoke.
The party said that the 26-day workshop of 26 police stations under the jurisdiction of Dhaka Metropolitan North and the 31 points of the party will start from Khilkhet today and will end at Banani police station on March 3.
