BNP has called for national unity by discussing with all political parties as a whole to deal with the ongoing situation in the country.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, 'In terms of industrial production, we have said that there are normal activities, let them continue. Especially in industrial areas, there should not be obstacles in the payment of workers. So that they get regular salary, I have asked the government to give a loan if necessary.'
He said, 'Union councils that exist, most of them brought their opinion to the elections under the coercion of the fascist government. Since the city corporation, municipality, upazila have been dissolved, now the UP Parishad should be dissolved and the next election held.
BNP Secretary General said about trade bodies, 'Trade bodies should be dissolved and new trade bodies should be formed through elections. Overall, I have called for the creation of national unity by talking with all our political parties.'
He said, 'We have said that elections are the most necessary, it is very important to complete the reforms and announce the election roadmap as soon as possible. We have also told the Chief Counsel to quickly withdraw the cases filed against BNP leaders and workers during the fascist government.'
