BNP chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia will leave for UK in a special air ambulance at 10 o'clock on Tuesday night. Before this, Hazrat Shahjalal will leave for International Airport from his home in Gulshan at 8 pm.
On this occasion, the leaders and workers of Dhaka Metropolitan (North and South) BNP and all its organs and affiliated organizations have been specially requested by the party to bid farewell to him by standing on the sidewalk in an orderly manner. This order was given in a press release on Monday night.
The notification signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, said, “All the leaders and workers are expected to follow the instructions properly so that there is no disruption to the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on the road.”
Meanwhile, the Emir of Qatar sent a special air ambulance to take Khaleda Zia abroad. The special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar is now in Dhaka. It landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 7:30 pm on Monday.
BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said that BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council member Enamul Haque Chowdhury welcomed the air ambulance from the airport.
The Emir of Qatar's air ambulance landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:18 pm to take Khaleda Zia to the UK, airport sources said. The source also said that the plane carrying Khaleda Zia had 16 other passengers besides her. Among them, 8 cabin crew including pilots and 8 members of expert team including doctors.
