The picture of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was removed from the Durbar Hall of Banga Bhavan on Monday. In protest, a post has been posted from the verified Facebook page of Awami League on Tuesday night.
In that long post, it is said that the photo of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was removed from the Durbar Hall of Bangabhaban yesterday. Government advisers themselves led the removal of the images. But the head of this government. According to Article 4(a) of the Constitution under which Muhammad Yunus and his advisers took oath, portraits of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman are placed in the offices of the President, Prime Minister, Speaker and Chief Justice and all public and private offices, autonomous institutions, heads of statutory government authorities and Branch offices, government and private educational institutions, Bangladesh embassies and missions abroad are obliged to preserve and display.
This government and its advisors have broken their oath by removing the photo of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman from various institutions and offices including Bangabhaban. This unethical act committed by them is both unconstitutional and an offense punishable under the existing laws of the land.
Again, it is the responsibility of His Excellency the President to supervise where any things will be in the residence of His Excellency the President. Oversight of advisers who take oath before the President on any matter related to the President is against the norms of statecraft and amounts to extreme temerity. Disobedience of constitutional provisions from the highest level of the government proves that this government does not care about the constitution and the law. They have capitalized on the emotions of common people and turned the entire state into a play house by holding them hostage.
Illegal and undemocratic fascist. The Yunus-led government is showing no respect for the rule of law. As a result, people's lives have become miserable due to the delicate situation of law and order in the country, rising commodity prices and insecurity of life and property. This government has no intention of giving peace and relief to the people. They are more vocal in erasing the collective achievements of the people of Bangladesh, erasing the history and suppressing dissent.
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the undisputed leader who led the great liberation war of the Bengali nation. Bengali nation, history of liberation war and Bangabandhu are one and inseparable. After the assassination of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family in 1975, attempts were made to erase Bangabandhu from history, sending the spirit of the Liberation War into exile.
But Bangabandhu and the liberation war were held in the heart of the common people of this country. The great liberation war is the glorious history of the people of this country. And the great hero of that history is Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation. As long as the Bengali nation exists, Bangabandhu's ideals and the spirit of the liberation war will remain exemplary and indelible in the memory and inspiration of this ethnic group, inshallah.
