Advisor to BNP Chairperson Zainul Abdin Farooq commented that Awami fascists are sitting in the holes of the administration.
He made this comment at the introductory meeting of the new committee of Dhaka Metropolitan North Ulama Party at Bhasani Auditorium in Nayapaltan today.
Zainul Abdin Farooq said, 'The people of the country have liberated the country with blood. But the country is still not free from conspiracy. Awami fascists are sitting in the holes of the administration. Advising controversial figures in interim government.'
He also commented that there is a conspiracy to embarrass the interim government.
Warning the government, this BNP leader said, 'Don't proceed in such a way that the people will reject you again. Don't undertake reforms that people's representatives do. We want election, election date, election preparation, formation of election commission, we want reforms. But we have to be careful that the elections are not delayed by controversial people.'
He also said, 'Our leader Tariq Rahman told us to be patient, we have taken that patience. But the controversial people will go to the administration, the friends of Awami League will go to the ministries, that cannot happen.'
BNP religious affairs secretary Rafiqul Islam Jamal, co-religious affairs secretary ATM Abdul Bari Dani, BNP executive committee member Nesrul Haque, Ulama party convener Mohammad Salim, member secretary Md. Abul Hossain and others were present.
