The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her son Sajib Wazed Joy for illegally allotting two 10-katha government plots in the Purbachal New Town project. Along with them, 23 other people including officials of National Housing and Public Works and Capital Development Authority-Rajuk have been made accused. A case was filed at ACC's integrated district office No. 1 on Tuesday, said Akhter Hossain, director general of the agency.

According to ACC sources, two cases were filed alleging that 10 katha plots were allocated in the name of Sheikh Hasina and 10 katha plots in the name of her son Sajib Wazed Joy in the Purbachal New Town project by 'abuse of power'. In the second case, the other case was filed with Sheikh Hasina as the co-accused with Joy as the main accused.
