Humanity-based political party Insaniat Biplab Bangladesh has proposed 18 reforms to reform various articles of the constitution so that the state remains free to ensure equality, human dignity, social justice and accountability at all levels of the state.
Allama Imam Hayat, chairman of the party, presented the reform proposal to Ali Riaz, head of the Constitutional Reform Commission, at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan MP hostel on Wednesday (December 4) afternoon.
Later he told reporters that they have given importance to the reformation of the existing political parties in the country. To be a political party, there cannot be a single religion, a single nationalism and a single ideology. He also demanded the direct election of the people to balance the powers of the Prime Minister and the President.
The secretary general of the organization Sheikh Rahbar along with presidium members and editorial board members were present at this time.
