Two Indian nationals detained in Rangamati


Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained two Indian nationals in Barkal upazila of Rangamati.

The arrested are Suresh Chakma (39) and Aurang Khan Chakma.

They were arrested on their way to Rangamati by speedboat on Friday (November 15) around 4:30 pm.

According to sources, two Indian nationals were detained during a regular checkup at the Barkal BGB check post on the way to Rangamati with 6 passengers by speedboat. Their remains were taken to the BGB camp.

Abdul Awal, Assistant Superintendent of Police of Barkal Circle, said that during the regular checkup at Barkal BGB Checkpost, we received the news of the arrest of two Indian citizens. BGBIR will complete the ancillary work and hand it over from the police.
