Tribute to President and Chief Adviser on Shikha Anirban


On the occasion of the Armed Forces Day, the President paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by offering wreaths at Shikha Anirban. Sahabuddin and chief advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

On Thursday (November 21) morning, the President paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by putting out the flame at Dhaka Cantonment. After that, the chief adviser paid his respects at around 8:30 am.

On the occasion of the day, the President paid deep respects to the martyrs of the armed forces, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the liberation war in 1971. After placing a wreath at the altar of Shikha Anirban, he stood in silence for a while in deep respect for the memory of the martyrs.

A smart contingent of the Army, Navy and Air Force then saluted. At this time a sad tune was played on the bugle. The head of state also signed the visitor's book kept there.

Earlier, the President was received by the chiefs of the three forces and senior officers of the Armed Forces Department (AFD) on his arrival at Shikha Anirban. The Chief Adviser then paid tribute to Shikha Anirban by placing a wreath. After placing the wreath, he stood in silence for a while paying deep respect to the memory of the martyrs of the armed forces who made the supreme sacrifice during the Liberation War in 1971.

A joint smart team of Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force provided guard of honour. A sad tune is played on the bugle.
