The United Nations Human Rights Organization has emphasized on maintaining international standards in the judicial process of 'serious human rights violations' against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her associates.

At a press conference in Geneva on Wednesday, the head of the company's chief, Falker, the company emphasized the importance of maintaining international standards in the judicial process.

The press conference was organized to publish a report by the United Nations Human Rights Organization on the incidents of human rights violations in Bangladesh from July 1st to August 8 last year.

According to the report, Sheikh Hasina, her Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and other officials were brutally shot, tortured and arrested by the protesters in direct directives and supervision. At least 1 thousand 5 people were killed in that day. Thousands of people were injured. These events of serious human rights violations are made systematically to hold power.

Filker Turk said the Bangladesh government may seek justice in the International Criminal Court (ICC) if the government of Bangladesh wants these allegations.

Virtually participating at the press conference, today's newspaper asked whether the trial of serious human rights violations against Sheikh Hasina could go on to the ICT and ICC together.

In response, the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner said that the trial of serious human rights violations could be in the international arena. However, the entire judicial process, including investigation and testimony of the allegations, must be international quality. If this is confirmed, the trial at the ICT and ICC can be complementary to each other.

Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister in the face of the coup and moved to India on August 5. About 20 cases have been filed against him on various charges, including serious human rights violations and murder. The interim government has requested the country to return him to the International Criminal Court (ICT) trial in the country.
