He made the call on Wednesday (April 23) at a function titled 'Bilateral investment opportunity between Qatar and Bangladesh' at the Grand Hayat Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
The chief adviser said that the interim government has taken many steps to improve the investment environment in the country and has dedicated itself to the creation of a new corruption -free Bangladesh.
The Chief Advisor described how Bangladesh once persuaded the telecom operator Telelen of Norway to establish a telephone company in the country.
Bangladesh Forum Qatar President Azad Ashraf gave the welcome address on the occasion.
Bedder Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashiq Mahmood bin Haroon gave a presentation on the reforms adopted by the country's interim government to facilitate investment and business and investment in Bangladesh.
“If you ever consider Bangladesh a destination for investment, this is probably the best time,” he said.
On the occasion, Energy Advisor Fawzul Kabir Khan said that when the interim government took charge, the amount of arrears of Bangladesh was US $ 120 million, which has now dropped to $ 1 million. Of these, Qatar Energy has 20 million arrears of payment, which has come down to zero by Wednesday.
He highlighted the interim government's plans for energy security and their welfare infrastructure.
