Bangladesh women's football team returned home on Thursday after winning the Saaf Women's Championship 2024 in Nepal. Youth and sports advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan was waiting from 5:30 in the afternoon to welcome the women footballers who won the championship. The wait ends at 7pm. Three hours after leaving the airport in an open-top bus at 4 pm, the victorious female footballers arrived at Buffe Bhavan.
Sabina was welcomed by the youth and sports advisor with flowers when she reached the building. Officials of the ministry were present there at that time. After welcoming the two newly elected vice-presidents footballers, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan announced the monetary award on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. A total of Rs 1 crore monetary reward was given to the victorious heroes by the government. The Youth and Sports Adviser immediately handed over the prize check to Sabina Khatun, the captain of the winning football team. Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy and Sabbir Ahmed Aref and some members.
