Taslima's post on banned organisations, as reported by the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser

Hizb ut Tahrir and Ansarullah Bangla Team are banned organizations in Bangladesh. The chief adviser's press wing said the interim government has no plans to lift the ban on such organisations.

This information was disclosed in a post on the Facts Facebook page of the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser on Sunday (October 27).

The post also mentions that Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasrin's claim that the ban on these two organizations has been lifted is not true.

Extremist organizations Hizb ut Tahrir and Ansarullah Bangla Team are banned in Bangladesh, the post said. The interim government led by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has maintained a zero tolerance policy towards all extremist organizations in the country. Recently India-based Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen made a post on Twitter, which came to our attention. He claimed earlier this week that the interim government had lifted the ban on the two groups. His claim is not true.

The Press Wing of the Chief Adviser also said that the Bangladesh government has no plans to lift the ban on these two groups, which have been banned in the last few decades, and other extremist organizations.
