The Public Administration Reform Commission has recommended not to promote anyone outside the vacant posts due to various complications in the promotion of government officials.

Today (February 7), the chief adviser said. Abdul Muid Chowdhury, head of the Public Administration Reform Commission, submitted a report to Muhammad Yunus. The chief adviser then expressed the Executive Summit of the Press Wing Report.

The report on not promoting the vacant posts said that at different times it was noticed that more than zero positions were promoted by promoting complications. Such a trend needs to be stopped immediately. It is recommended for the promotion of all posts against the vacancies only.

The Reform Commission has said that all cadre line promotion is to ensure the discrimination between different services, especially in the services that do not have up to 1-5 grades, to solve the required number of grades from grade-1 to grade-1. Can

Similarly, it is recommended to create different grades for promotion at the rate of proportion to the demand for the work of the particular service. There should be a examination or evaluation through the Public Service Commission for the promotion of the respective services of the respective services.

According to the report, the field administration of Bangladesh operates following various traditions and rules of British India and Pakistan period. But in India and Pakistan, there is a separate law for field administration, but it is not in Bangladesh. Because of this, there is a lack of coordination among various government departments in the field administration. It is recommended to enact a separate law for the field administration to eliminate this problem.
