Officials of the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) have been directed to submit asset accounts. On Friday (November 22), this information was revealed by Rajuk sources.
Earlier, Rajuk Director (Administration) Momin Uddin issued an office order directing officials to account for assets.
He said that the assets statement of the ninth grade and above officers of Rajuk and the remaining grade 10 to other grade officers should be submitted to the chairman's office by November 30.
Meanwhile, the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration said that government officials-employees will have to submit the asset account by November 30. Md. Mokhles ur Rahman. He gave this information in a press conference organized in the meeting room of the Ministry of Public Administration at the secretariat on September 22.
Mokhles ur Rahman said that every year by December 31, government employees have to submit the statement of assets. This year it should be submitted by 30 November. This account should be submitted to the concerned authority in a sealed envelope.
He also said that if there is wrong information or if the details of assets are not submitted, the punishment will be as per the 1979 rules. It is required for all government employees. Government servants may be reprimanded and dismissed from service if irregularities are found in asset declarations, depending on the degree of crime.
