Samar M. Saren said that in the era of artificial intelligence, it is a big challenge to sustain endangered languages like Pahariya through technology. There is a danger that the languages will become more endangered as the minority ethnic groups do not have their own language technology. For this it is very important to enter these languages digitally, into data production tools like keyboards, spell checkers.
Benjamin Tudu, Deputy Director of Rajshahi Divisional Minorities Cultural Academy gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the meeting. Akbarul Hasan (Millat), executive member of the academy and journalist, discussed in detail about the Pahari language keyboard on behalf of the academy as a special guest moderated by the instructor of the academy, Manuel Saren.
