No security threat on Victory Day: Home Adviser


Interior Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that there is no security threat ahead of Victory Day. Because this victory day is for everyone, not for anyone alone.

He said these things in response to the questions of the journalists after the meeting held at the conference room of the Ministry of Interior on Monday (November 18) regarding the overall security measures including law and order control for the proper implementation of the national program adopted by the Ministry of Liberation War to celebrate the Victory Day with due dignity.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, 'Victory Day is celebrated beautifully and law and order should be maintained in the meeting. Currently there is no problem with the law and order situation.'

He said that arrangements will be made to ensure good traffic on Victory Day. It was also discussed that the color and shape of the national flag should not be different from one place to another. It has been requested that it be done according to the standards set by the government.

In response to a question from the journalists, the Home Affairs Advisor said, 'There is no security threat by the grace of God. December 16 everyone, for that there is no security threat in this case.'
