Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tokyo on Friday on a two -day state visit. He had a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru in the afternoon. Then after the meeting, they joined the work -management dinner.
Earlier in the first half of the day, the first meeting of the two prime ministers was held at a function organized by Japan-India Economic Forum. Both of them spoke as a joint key speaker there.
Speaking at the address, Ishiba said that he is awaiting formal talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Japan-India relations.
