Jamaat -e -Islami has called for a nationwide massacre on August 7 to mark the first anniversary of the July coup. The party's secretary general Professor Mia Ghulam Parwar said this in a statement on Saturday (August 2).
In the statement, Mia Ghulam Parwar said, “As part of the pre-announced month-long program on the occasion of the first anniversary of the student-coup of July, I urge all the metropolitan and district branches of Bangladesh to succeed peaceful masses on Tuesday.”
He urged all the district and metropolis to make the masses successful. He also sought the cooperation of the concerned administration to carry out the program in a systematic and peaceful manner.
