According to the statement of the case, there was no relationship between the two since the marriage. On the night of October 27, Abdul Alim called his wife's brother and told them that their sister could not be found. After searching in different places, it was not found. Later his body was recovered. It has been mentioned in the case that it was the husband Alim who killed her and threw her body in the river to disappear.
In this regard, Karnaphuli Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Monir Hossain told Prothom Alo that the police arrested husband Abdul Alim in connection with the recovery of the woman's body. Further investigations and inquiries are going on in this regard.
