Govt to maintain communal harmony


Dhaka: The foreign advisor said that the government is determined to protect the constitutional rights of people of all religions and maintain communal harmony. Touhid Hossain.

He said that people of all communities are citizens of Bangladesh.

Everyone's rights are equal in this country. This right is constitutionally recognized. The government is determined to protect this right and maintain communal harmony.

The foreign affairs adviser said these things after exchanging greetings with Sanatan religious people at Dhakeshwari temple in the capital on Thursday (October 10).

He said that no community can be persecuted for religious reasons. If any such incident happens, the government will bring it under justice. I can confirm on behalf of the government, the culprits will be brought to justice.

The foreign adviser also said, “We will never support any crime, we will not allow any criminal to remain beyond the reach of justice.”

You see, at a time when there was no real government in the country, we admit that some incidents happened through some miscreants. Those crimes will be punished, steps have already been taken, he added.

Addressing the followers of Sanatan religion, the foreign adviser said, you can rest assured, the security system has been strengthened. Law enforcement is working. Volunteers across the country are working with the Sanatan people to ensure that no miscreant gets a chance to create trouble.
