A fifth person has died of suspected methanol poisoning in the tourist town of Vang Vieng in the Southeast Asian country of Laos. The latest person to die is Simone White (28). He is a British lawyer.
The UK Foreign Office confirmed his death on Thursday. In a statement, the ministry said, 'We are providing all assistance to the family of the British woman who died in Laos. We are in touch with the local authorities.'
Simone White worked at international law firm Square Patton Boggs.
