The Deputy Ambassador of the Netherlands Embassy said, 'We must all work together to prevent violence against women and girls. Let's all make this campaign a success together and continue to work towards building a safer world.'
Francois Grosjean, director of Allianz Française Dhaka, gave the opening speech at the event. Highlighting the root causes of gender-based violence in Bangladesh, he said, 'We all have to come forward from everyone's position. In addition to such big events, voices should be raised every day against all kinds of violence in the streets, at work, at home, only then will real change come.'
