Mostafa Sarwar Farooqi, Advisor to the Ministry of Culture, said they should be brought under one umbrella in different ministries. He also advised the people of the cultural industry to surround the government to solve their problems.
This was stated at the 'National Film Conference' organized by the Bangladesh Film Students Association at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate building of Dhaka University on Wednesday (January 26th).
Mostafa Sarwar Farooqi said, “We all know what our problem is and what is the solution?” Everyone knows where our solution is. By writing that solution – you do not think you are in power and we are in power, forget you, you surround us on the street, force us, we should implement the proposals quickly.

Commenting on the entire cultural industry of the country should have been under an umbrella, he said, “It is not possible to take a concerted initiative because of not being under one umbrella.” It is my responsibility to prevent cultural aggression in the country. If it does not stop it, we first get into a different cultural domination. Secondly, the work of the people of my industry is reduced. Now the policies that need to be made to prevent it are in the Ministry of Information. Culture issues are thus one place.
“We have to do a lot of work on July,” Mostafa Sarwar Farooqi proposed to unite the Ministry of Cultural and Tourism. In between, we will make some proposals at the policy level.
