Once Caliph Umar (RA) went to a woman and asked, 'What happened to you?' The woman said, 'My husband has been away from me for several months. My desire to have him became intense.'
Umar (ra) then went to his daughter Hafsa (ra) and said, 'I want to know something important from you. help me When the husband is away for how many days, the desire to get close to the husband becomes intense in girls?'
Hafsa bowed her head in shame. Umar (RA) then said, 'Allah is not ashamed of revealing the truth.'
Hafsa (RA) then pointed to her hand and explained three or four months.
Umar (RA) ordered that no soldier should be detained for more than four months.
Hafsa (RA) is the daughter of Umar Ibnul Khattab (RA), the second Caliph of Islam. His brother Sahabi Abdullah Ibn Umar (RA). Hafsa (RA) was six years older than Abdullah.
