Awami League leader's son arrested in Kurigram student agitation case


On October 10, Ruhul Amin, a student of Kurigram Government College, filed a murder case at the Sadar police station as a plaintiff in the case of Ashiq's death. In that case, 500 to 600 unknown persons have been accused by naming 104 people, accusing them of killing students, attacking students, looting and arson.

Other accused in the case are Kurigram District Awami League General Secretary Aman Uddin Ahmed, District Press Club General Secretary Abdul Khalek Farooq, Journalist Humayun Kabir and Yusuf Alamgir.
