Another history of Kings winning the Challenge Cup

Bashundhara Kings created another history by winning the new domestic football tournament Bangladesh 2.0 Challenge Cup. The team that won the treble last season defeated Mohammedan 3-1 at their home ground Kings Arena. Tapu-Zikora started this season by winning a new title.

Mohamedan took the lead at the Kings Arena on Friday through captain Soleman Diabat's seventh-minute goal. Bashundhara Kings, who ended the first half trailing by one goal, lit up in the second half. Nine Kings took the match by scoring three goals one after the other.
