The members of the Constitutional Reform Commission discussed with the participants about the constitutional reform.
On Sunday (November 24), the discussion was held with members of the civil society in the cabinet room of Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan. 6 leading people participated in this exchange meeting.
Former Chief Election Commissioner Justice Mohammad Abdur Rauf, Islamic thinker Dr. Mohammad Manjure Elahi, former president of Bangladesh Economic Association and former professor of Economics Department of Chittagong University. Mainul Islam, Editor of New Age Newspaper Nurul Kabir, Professor of Population Sciences Department of Dhaka University. Mohammad Moinul Islam and member of Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) and professor of International Relations Department of Dhaka University. Mohammad Tanjimuddin Khan participated and presented their various proposals and suggestions regarding constitutional reform.
In the exchange meeting, the head of the commission, Professor Ali Riyaz, and members of the commission, Professor Sumaiya Khair, Barrister Imran Siddique, Professor Mohammad Ikramul Haque, Dr. Sharif Bhuiyan, Barrister M. Moin Alam Ferozi, Feroze Ahmed and Md. Mustain Billah was present.
It should be noted that in the next few steps, the Constitution Reform Commission will hold an exchange meeting with various individuals and organizations.
