Prominent party also seen advocating for A.League: Adviser Asif

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud said, 'This advisory council has also taken political decisions like canceling 8 days or banning Chhatra League, many people are slandering them as not having the spirit of coup. On the other hand, prominent political parties have also been seen advocating for the Awami League, showing reluctance to remove the latest icon of fascism.'

He said these things in a post on his verified Facebook ID on Saturday (October 26).

The sports adviser said, “We have not shown the courage to go to dialogue or reconciliation by shedding blood before, and we will not show it in the future.” If we had a compromising attitude like taking one step forward and two steps back, we would not have got Bangladesh today. There can be personal, collective anger. It is sad to discuss it, to embarrass someone on a public platform or to play yourself in the process.'

It was from this account that 5 points were announced as the post-coup roadmap in the early hours of August 5.

It was there that the formation of the Interim National Government was announced. The first intention to form a government with all was shown by the leaders of the popular uprising. But unfortunately that dream did not materialize due to the lack of support from prominent parties.
