Jahangir's family alleges that some time last Thursday night, his wife and in-laws killed Jahangir by suffocating him. Later they spread propaganda of 'death by stroke'. He has injury marks on his neck and body.
Deputy Inspector of Kaliakair police station Rafiqul Islam said that the dead body of Jahangir was recovered and sent to the morgue. The exact cause of death will be known after receiving the post-mortem report.
