Eknath Shinde led Shiv Sena has given ticket to Milind Deora from Worli Assembly seat. Now Milind Deora will face Shiv Sena UBT leader Aditya Thackeray on Worli seat. Milind Deora is currently a Rajya Sabha member and has been a two-time MP from the South Mumbai Lok Sabha seat. Milind Deora was given the command of Worli during the Lok Sabha elections. Worli seat is considered to be dominated by Shiv Sena UBT and despite this, Shiv Sena UBT had a lead of only 6500 votes from Worli. Milind Deora posted on X after getting ticket from Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde. He wrote that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde believes that justice for Worli and Worlikars is too late. We will move forward together and share our vision soon.

Deora had joined Shiv Sena from Congress in January itself.
Milind Deora had left Congress in January itself and joined Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena. Milind Deora has inherited politics and his father Murli Deora was a senior Congress leader and also a Union Minister in the Congress government. He has been a Lok Sabha MP twice and is currently a Rajya Sabha member. In June, he delivered his first speech as a Shiv Sena MP on the motion of thanks to the President's address in Parliament. He had said in Rajya Sabha that my father has taught me loyalty to the country before loyalty to the party.
Triangular contest on Worli seat
Raj Thackeray led MNS has given ticket to Sandeep Deshpande from Worli seat. Shiv Sena has approved the name of Milind Deora, now the contest on Worli seat has become interesting. Aditya Thackeray filed nomination from Worli seat on Thursday. During this, he showed his strength by doing a road show. Aditya Thackeray said during this time that 'I am confident that the public will definitely give me their blessings because this time Maha Vikas Aghadi government is going to be formed in Maharashtra.' Shiv Sena UBT leader Arvind Sawant also expressed confidence that the people will elect Aditya Thackeray on Worli seat.
Shiv Sena has released a list of its candidates
Shiv Sena has released its first list of candidates, in which the party has released the names of 45 candidates. It is believed that the party may soon release the second list of candidates. Shiv Sena is a part of the Mahayuti alliance and its allies BJP and NCP have also released their respective lists. BJP has also released the first list of 99 candidates and NCP has released the first list of 38 candidates and second list of seven candidates.
