BNP's meeting with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Norway


Norway's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Andreas Motfelt Kravik, met with a delegation of BNP. In this important meeting held in Oslo on Wednesday (October 16), Norway's South Asia Section Director Sigbion Tenford and Senior Advisor Anne Liliren were also on behalf of Norway.

The situation after August 5 was discussed in detail in the meeting. Mr. Kravik said that Norway wants democracy to return to Bangladesh quickly through a fair, free and impartial election. On the other hand, the delegation of BNP expressed hope that historical relations between the two countries will reach a new height in a dictatorship-free environment.

The delegation led by BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman's advisor Barrister Abu Sayem included BNP National Executive Committee Member Saidur Rahman Liton, Foreign Affairs Committee Member Iqbal Hossain Babu, Norway BNP President Badal Bhuiya and Juba Dal's former International Affairs Secretary (Joint General Secretary Status) Mohammad Khairuzzaman Lincoln and Norwegian BNP General Secretary Shah Alam.
