BNP demands that the recruitment process of three BCSs be canceled completely

BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed said that in view of the demand for reform of the Public Works Commission (PSC), a new chairman and some members of the PSC have already been appointed. PSC reforms should be fully completed and all recruitment processes should be completed anew in a transparent process, so that the job aspirants get the benefits of the changed PSC and re-establish the confidence and trust of the nation in the government recruitment process.

He said these things at a press conference held at the Chairperson's office in Gulshan in the capital on Thursday (October 17).

Salahuddin pointed out, 'We have come to know that out of the 9,000 candidates of the 44th BCS who were called for the oral examination during the Hasina government, 3,000 have completed the examination. Evaluation of 45th BCS written answer papers is almost at the end. On the other hand, the preliminary examination of the 46th BCS was completed three months ago.

Our demand is that the recruitment process of these three BCSs should be completely canceled in order to prevent the cadre forces of the fascist Awami Group and Chhatra League from entering the state administration. In order to make the second independence meaningful in the July-August revolution, the allies of fascism must be stopped at all costs. We have to remember that there is no room for compromise on this matter.' This senior BNP leader said.

Salahuddin said, 'We have learned from reliable sources that the Awami government appointed a total of 803 people to the post of sub-inspector of police before leaving to prolong its power and extend its absolute dominance in the police administration. Out of these 200 are from Gopalganj and 403 are members of Chhatra League. Not only this, the general religious equality of numbers has also been grossly violated in this appointment. It is heard that the passing out of these party sub-inspectors who are training in Sarada will be on October 31. If this recruitment is not stopped, many more friends of fascism like OC Pradeep, Farman, Mazhar, Mohsin will be made from among them.

Salahuddin said, 'It is also known that the 67 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP) appointed by the Awami League government under the far-reaching blue scheme are all BCL cadres. Their passing out will probably be on October 20. If not stopped now, they will be Benazir, Asad, Habib, Harun, Biplab, Monirul, Praloy Kumar or Krishnapada of tomorrow. Appointing them would lead to the revival of fallen fascism.'

Our demand is to cancel the appointment of these sub-inspectors and ASPs immediately to keep the important law enforcement forces of the country free from stigma and to prevent the rise of fascism again.'
