From now on, women employees in Odisha will get one day period leave every month. The state government announced this on Tuesday. Apart from this, women will also get 12 days of emergency casual leave annually, which will be in addition to the 15 days of leave currently available.
The state government issued a circular stating that women were being given the facility of 10 emergency casual leaves since March, which was implemented by the BJD government keeping in mind the family responsibilities of women and their various problems. Now two more days have been added to it.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena releases list of candidates, Raj Thackeray's son gets ticket from Mahim
Raj Thackeray's party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has released the list of its candidates for Maharashtra elections. There are names of 45 candidates in the list. Raj Thackeray's son Amit Thackeray has been fielded from Mahim assembly seat of Mumbai. Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra on 20 November. The results will come on 23 November.
