Former in Kuakata BNP office vandalism case


Patuakhali: The court denied bail in the case filed against BNP office vandalism and vandalism and sent four people including Kwakata Municipal Awami League president and former mayor Abdul Barek Mollah to jail.

On Monday (October 21), when Patuakhali appeared before the District Judge, the judge ordered them to be sent to jail.

It has been reported that a case was filed against the Municipal BNP office of Patuakhali located in Kuakata Sikdar Market, alleging assault, vandalism, looting and vandalism. Municipal Awami League president and former mayor Abdul Barek Mollah, municipal mayor Anwar Hawladar, joint general secretary Anant Mukherjee and 58 others were named as defendants, along with more than 100 unknown persons. Municipal BNP organizational secretary Saidur Rahman Sohel filed the case at Mohipur police station as the plaintiff.

Municipal mayor Anwar Howladar and many others are on bail in this case.

When the accused appeared in the court on Monday morning and applied for bail, the court rejected the bail application and sent Municipal Awami League President Ah Barek Molla, Joint General Secretary Anant Kumar Mukherjee, Ward No. 6 Jubo League President Alauddin and Ward No. 4 Jubo League General Secretary Rafiqul Islam to jail.

Earlier, the BNP and other organization leaders protested against the defendants in the court premises to prevent them from being granted bail when they appeared in the sabotage case.
