Let us tell you that Jan Suraj Party has made former army officer Lieutenant General SK Singh its candidate for Tarari assembly seat. He is a native of Karath village in Bhojpur district, but after his retirement from the Army, he has been living with his family in Delhi for a long time. His name is not in the voter list of any district of Bihar.

Due to SK Singh's name being in the voter list of Delhi, his candidature is in trouble. According to the rules, for any person to be a candidate in the Assembly and Legislative Council elections, it is necessary for any person to have his name in the voter list of that state.

A new candidate may be fielded
Other than this Lok Sabha elections For candidature, it is necessary to have name in the voter list of any state of the country. There is a problem in the candidature of Lieutenant General SK Singh due to his name not being in the voter list of Bihar. Because of this, now Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Party will have to field a new candidate for Tarari assembly seat.

Let us tell you that the party had nominated Dr. Jitendra Paswan from Imamganj, Professor Khilafat Hussain from Belaganj and SK Singh from Tarari. The name of the candidate was not announced for Ramgarh assembly seat, hence now the party can announce the replacement candidate for Ramgarh seat as well as Tarari seat.
