Meanwhile, on Sunday (October 20), the Indian Army said that a joint team killed a terrorist trying to infiltrate in Baramulla district. During this period, Indian forces recovered a large quantity of ammunition and items used in war.
Chinar Corps said, “The joint team recovered 1 AK rifle, 2 AK magazines, 57 AK rounds, 2 pistols, 3 pistol magazines and other war material.” Earlier, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army had launched a joint anti-infiltration operation in view of possible infiltration in the area.

Based on intelligence inputs about infiltration, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police had launched a joint anti-infiltration operation in the general area of Uri, Baramulla. As soon as the terrorists got wind of this, they started firing indiscriminately. After this, Chinar Corps told that our Indian Army team also gave a befitting reply.
7 people died in terrorist attack
Meanwhile, seven people were killed in a terrorist attack in Gagangir area of Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday (October 20) evening. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed grief over this and said that this attack is “disgusting and cowardly”. He also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of this attack.
