The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has released new footage of Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar before his death, in which he is seen going inside a tunnel. “Sinwar was seen going into an underground bunker with his family on the night of October 6, before the horrific attacks,” IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said. He was busy preparing for his own survival. The footage shows how food and other items are being supplied to him, so that he can stay inside the tunnel for a long time.
This video clip is said to be from the late night of 6th October, when the deadly attack on Israel took place on 7th October. In the video, Sinwar is seen going into the underground tunnel with his wife and children. Regarding this, Hagari said, 'Once again it is proved that the leaders of the terrorist organization Hamas are busy saving their lives. Whoever he is, he doesn't care about the price paid by the people of Gaza. They use them as human shields. They are only concerned about their existence. Sinwar had also collected huge amount of money with him.
Sinwar stayed in Khan Younis and Rafa during the war.
An IDF spokesman said Yahya Sinwar moved between Khan Yunis and Rafah during the war. We believed he was in Gaza the whole time. He said, 'We were asked whether Sinwar had fled to Egypt. We reiterated that he is hiding inside Gaza, which extends between Khan Younis and Rafah. He is seen with his family in the video footage. He said the IDF also has documents on Sinwar's family. Hagari said the IDF continued to monitor him and collected additional evidence using intelligence sources.
Yahya Sinwar seen lying dead on a chair
Israeli forces left leaflets in southern Gaza three days after Yahya Sinwar's death. These leaflets showed another picture of Sinwar, in which he was lying dead on a chair. His finger was cut and his head was bleeding. It was written in the pamphlet, 'Sinwar has ruined your life. He hid in a dark place and was killed while running away in fear.' Let us tell you that Hamas political leader Ismail Haniya died in a hotel room in Iran. Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah group, died after dozens of massive bomb blasts in an underground bunker.
