Rabi is the first student in the department without taking the exam!

A female student of Rajshahi University (Rabi) became the first in the department despite not participating in the final examination of the third year of the first semester of the history department.

This information is known from the list of third year first semester result sheet of the department published on Wednesday (October 16).

On Sunday (October 20), the matter came into discussion after it became known. However, the concerned teachers of the examination committee call it 'unintentional mistake'.

It has been found that on May 26, the examination of the third year first semester of the 2020-21 academic year of the history department began. Ends June 6. On October 16, the results of the examination were published on the university's website. It shows that the result of a student named Sadia Afroz Maria is CGPA-3.50, who did not participate in the examination. At first no one noticed the matter, but this afternoon the matter came to the notice of the students.

It is reported that Sadia Afroz, a student of the academic year 2020-21, did not participate in the second semester examination of the second year due to her pregnancy.

When asked about this, Sadia Afroz said, 'I could not participate in the second semester examination of the second year due to my poor physical condition. But today I was surprised to hear that I stood first in the exam results of the first semester of the third year. Where I am studying in the second semester of the second year with the academic year 2021-22, how can I pass first in the first semester of the third year?'

A student of the 2020-21 academic year, who did not want to be named, expressed his anger and said, “How can a student get the result without taking the exam?” From this it is understood that the examination committee members produce arbitrary results without properly evaluating the examination papers. Many of them are deprived of expected results due to such activities of teachers.

When asked, the president of the examination committee, Professor Abul Kashem, said, 'It is an unintentional mistake. There were three tabulators (members) of the examination committee. The mistake was mainly due to their negligence. This has come to our attention. We have started working to rectify this.'

To know about this, the president of the history department, Professor Ferdousi Khatun, called several times and knocked on WhatsApp, but there was no response.
