Woman forced to Stay out of house lived in Tent for Five days due to periods tells Supreme Court Judge Sanjay Karol ann


Supreme Court Judge Sanjay Karol: Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjay Karol said that India is not limited to just big cities like Delhi and Mumbai. People in remote areas have to face such situations which we cannot even imagine.

Justice Sanjay Karol said that being the guardian of the Constitution, it is the responsibility of the Supreme Court to reach out even to those who do not even understand what justice is. What is the condition of women during their periods in remote areas and what situations do they have to go through? He said that there are many places in the country where the judicial system has not yet reached.

The woman was not allowed to enter the house for five days

Justice Karol, speaking at an event for Supreme Court lawyers, mentioned a woman who was forced to stay out of the house during her menstruation. He showed a photo taken by himself in 2023, in which the woman is seen sitting in a tent. Justice Karol said that he had taken this photo in a village. The woman was not allowed to enter the house for five days because she was going through a normal natural process.

Justice Sanjay Karol did not tell where he had taken this photo. However, he mentioned the remote areas of Bihar and Tripura in his speech. He said that the judicial system has not yet reached such places. He said that the judicial system cannot be run with a vision limited to big cities. The court will have to look where people cannot reach it.
